Jessica Ruhl, LMT, CPMT, Reiki Master

Jessica is a licensed massage therapist, certified Prenatal Massage Therapist, and Reiki Master.  She received her massage certification from the National Massage Therapy Institute (NMTI) in Falls Church, VA in January 2012.  She is nationally certified and licensed to practice in Maryland.  She received her Reiki Master training and attunement from a private teacher, in March 2012.  She also received her certification for Prenatal Massage Therapy from the Institute of Somatic Therapy in February 2013.

Jessica believes that everyone deserves at least a little tranquility in their stressful lives.  Stress has been proven to have many negative effects on our bodies, so why not treat our overworked bodies with a little bit of healing and relaxation?  She believes that through this feeling of tranquility, clients will discover their inner radiance again.  Jessica believes that each person is unique and structures her therapy sessions to fit the individual client's needs.

As a child, Jessica used to give her older sister neck and shoulder massages.  She has always enjoyed helping others.  She loved helping others so much she became a kindergarten teacher and taught for 3 years.  Even though she loved working with those young minds, she felt she needed something different.  That's when she received her Reiki training and decided that she would pursue a career in massage therapy.  From there her interest in the alternative medicine field blossomed.
